Thanks, Corona.. And Condolences to the Ignorant

Written by Dr. Hamada Al-Antably
One day, amid the proliferation of overnight millionaires and those who boast of art and the afflictions of the era, I cursed science and scientists. Then came Corona to ensure that the upper hand belongs to scientists and doctors; for without their efforts, science, and sacrifices, there would be no life. Your life is contingent upon the extent of your knowledge, your awareness of the things around you, and nations advance through the efforts of their scholarly children. In the face of disease, you turn to doctors and scientists who carry life within the folds of their research and knowledge.
Teach your children that through knowledge we rise. There is no life for vulgarity, triviality, and cheap art—even if it is noisy and lucrative, it quickly vanishes in front of a microscopic virus or a severe illness, leaving the upper hand and refuge, after God, to scientists, for they are the heirs of the prophets. Salutations to every doctor and nurse confronting this virus on behalf of the world. And thank you, Corona, for restoring lost values to us, restoring the prestige of scholars, and ridding us of the epidemics of thought, taste, and ignorance that have dominated the world in recent years.
