The research sample was selected using a purposive-random sampling method, comprising a total of 187 participants distributed across key sectors:

Sports Club Management & Employees: 60 participants (including board members, executive managers, sports activity managers, and staff from marketing, investment, and financial departments across clubs such as Misr Lel-Makkasa, Petrojet/Petrosport, Goldi, Wadi Degla, Misr El-Gadidda [MVB], and Al Ahly).

National Sports Council Employees: 30 participants.

Egyptian Football Association Employees: 30 participants.

Football Experts and Media Specialists: 30 participants.

Investors and Businessmen in the Sports Sector: 27 participants.

Olympic Committee Employees: 10 participants.

The primary tool used for data collection was a structured questionnaire.

Key Findings

Legislative Barriers: Current laws and regulations at the time did not adequately provide the legal framework or opportunity for the establishment and operation of independent football companies in Egypt.

Corporate Sponsorship: There is an urgent need to encourage major commercial enterprises, investment firms, and large governmental entities to sponsor football teams and competitive championships.

Investment Awareness: A significant portion of investors lack a comprehensive understanding of the true role and potential impact that football companies can wield in supporting and driving sports investment decisions.
